Prompt delivery of 4 samples on moisture resistant MDF. I’ll be going with the off white for a shower enclosure. I tested the samples by placing a drop of water on top and left it until it evaporated away. No damage at all, I’m impressed.

What is Microcement?
Microcement is a VERY thin layer of concrete which can be applied to many different surfaces. It is typically only a few millimetres thick and has a very smooth finish, giving the appearance of polished concrete to whatever it is applied to.
What can I apply the microcement to?
For outdoor worktops we recommend using cement board as the base. Its not expensive, cuts easily and is very compatible with microcement.
It also doesn't shrink or expand much with cold and heat.
Does it stain or scratch?
Microcement when applied according to our simple step-by-step instructions is extremely strong and stain proof.
What maintenance is required?
As part of our microcement kits we provide a sealer. Its very important that the wall is sealed to ensure longevity of the wall.
Once sealed and in service the wall can be cleaned like any other wall.
Can it be left outdoors all year round?
Yes it can. As long as its properly sealed and looked after then it will give you years of trouble-free use.
